Unique commissions

PapertolebyKC has created a number of products as one-offs on request.

They include photos of equestrian events (horses in mid-jump over an obstacle), a debutant ball portrait image, and other pieces. The B24 Liberator (with truck) image on the gallery page, was donated to the B24 Liberator restoration museum at Werribee VIC. Two (of three) copies of the Steam Train were given to the Central Goldfields Railway, Maldon.

The prices on this website are based on the 2026 cost to make additional copies of existing products.

For one-off commissions, the following extra time needs to be accounted for:

Photo selection and layering investigation;
Photoshop/editing work and layer separation for printing;
Linework setup for cutting of photos and card reinforcing;
Some draft experimentation to ensure all elements are correct.

Compared to the cost of making further copies, the setup time can be around 80-90% of the time to make each copy. So a complex $1000+ framed product may be more like $1800+ if charged as a specific one-off item. Some products though are much quicker in setup and production, such as basic portraits, or cars.

 However if you have an image in mind that is also suitable for general sale, I may be able to work around the setup cost if more copies are likely to be popular to the general public.
